The internet collects a lot of information about you. This may or may not be obvious. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Data Collection and Use
At this time our forms collect your name and email address and potentially your phone number when you sign up for our newsletter or via our contact form.
A cookie is a very small piece of data stored on your computer When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
If you “Log in” to our website, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if You (the visitor) has visited the other website. Please be aware that when you navigate away from our website to another location on the internet we no longer have control over your privacy. Please ensure you use your due diligence to ensure you are aware of the privacy policies for each place you visit on the internet/mobile apps.
Who we share your data with
At TIE Builder we strive to ensure that the information you may share with us does not end up in malicious hands. We will not sell or otherwise share your personal information and we will always limit the amount of information we collect from you. Your information may be shared with third parties who are connected to our website in order to help us:
- Stop SPAM

- To direct you to our e-commerce solution provider
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register or Log In to our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
